CHARLOTTE, N.C. – After formulating a stellar opening-day performance last weekend at Bailey Memorial Stadium that included two scoring sequences in her blue and garnet debut, Emma Claire Mills of the Presbyterian College lacrosse team was chosen as the Big South Freshman of the Week on Tuesday morning.Announced by league officials, Mills follows in the footsteps of Maura Talvacchia (2014), Claire Frase (2015), Cady Roberts (2016), and teammate Abby Edmisten (2020) as other PC players to earn the league's Freshman of the Week plaudit. She is the second Presby performer to claim the honor with just one game in the books.
