CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wasting no time in turning heads with a stellar showing both at the plate and in the circle, rookie Kasey Wolfe of the Presbyterian College softball team was chosen as the Big South Freshman of the Week on Tuesday morning, the fifth PC player all-time to receive the distinction.Batting .583 (seven-for-twelve) along with a team-high five RBI during the season-starting Blue Hose Invitational over the weekend, Wolfe announced her presence to head coach David Williams' club with a bang. The freshman touched eight bases against Tennessee Tech and Norfolk State, responsible for at least one score – either hitting or running – in three of the team's four affairs.
