Senior Zaria Shazer scored a team-best 12 points to lead Marist women's basketball, however, it wasn't enough in the Red Foxes' defeat at home against Iona, 62-53, Saturday evening inside McCann Arena. With the loss, Marist fell to 5-17 on the campaign and 3-9 in the MAAC, while Iona improved to 7-15 overall and 3-10 in conference play on the 2023-24 season.
