Did Nolan Ryan or A-Rod use steroids? Ryan was productive into his mid-40's, and he beat the crap out of Robin Venture. A-Rod is on pace to break the career Home Run record.

Nolan Ryan played before the steroid era. He was faster when he first came up with the Mets. I say no.

As for A-Rod, just my hunch, but I don't think so either. xcoffeex

I always wondered about Brian Downing of the Angels, he was playing before the steroid era, but really pumped up, and looked like a body builder.

Would not surprise me if they did.

Hell, back in college I knew a D-IAA kicker and back up QB who juiced. Now if players at that level are willing to use a performance enhancer, I'm quite sure any professional athlete is.
