TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swimmer Brian Benzing has been named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Men's Swimmer of the Week honors, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. Benzing posted three individual victories and one relay win against Delaware last Saturday. The senior won the 100 breast with a time of 52.78, more than four seconds faster than the second-place finisher and faster than any swimmer in the CAA this season. He took the top spot by more than three seconds in the 200 breast, clocking in at 2:01.65, and claimed the 100 fly with a time of 47.91. Benzing was also a member of the Tigers' first-place 200 medley finish with a time of 1:29.45.
