Sacred Heart will play 5 NEC schools as non-conf games (CCSU, DUQ, LIU, SFU, and STO) + likely Merrimack.

Merrimack will play just 2 NEC teams (RMU and STO) + likely SHU.

Every NEC team except Stonehill will play at least 1 FBS opponent.

4 NEC teams will play 2 FBS games next season - CCSU, DUQ, SFU, and WAG

Just 3 NEC teams have scheduled non-D I opponents (DUQ, RMU 2x, and WAG)

3 NEc schools have 2nd BYE week and may schedule a 12th game - DUQ, SFU, STO.

SFU only had 10 games in 2023 and now only 11 games in the 12-game 2024 season.

Honestly, how much of that is they can't find D-I teams willing to go to Loretto? SFU (and Duquesne) have a hard time getting FCS teams to agree to home/home deals. SFU is the location and DUQ is the facility.

Why doesn't Duquesne play (some) games at the former South Stadium, less than 1.2 miles from the campus? Seats 9,700.

Location and Facility will always be the biggest challenges facing NEC football to host higher level FCS schools.

RMU has played YSU 5 times, all games played at YSU (RMU is 0-5). I don't think we will ever see YSU make that trip to Moon Township.
