TOWSON, Md. – Derek Halford has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director, Athletics Facilities & Event Management by the Towson University athletics department, effective January 17. In the role, he will manage 11 athletic facilities and coordinate events for Towson's 19 sports, including emergency action plans, visiting team guides and game day logistics.
