After a slow start to the season, Marques Colston looks like he's establishing himself as a legit NFL reciever. Since week eight this is what he's done.

Week 15- 8 catches, 114 yards, 1 TD
Week 14- 9 catches, 92 yards, 2 TD
Week 13- 2 catches, 39 yards
Week 12- 7 catches, 93 yards, 1 TD
Week 11- 9 catches, 118 yards
Week 10- 8 catches, 129 yards
Week 9- 10 catches, 159 yards
Week 8- 8 catches, 85 yards, 3 TD

He's also over the 1000 yard mark again this year. xthumbsupx

Colston currently ranks in the top 10 in five categories among NFC receivers (NFL rankings in parenthesis):

Yards - 1,092 3rd (8th)
Receptions - 87 2nd (6th)
Touchdowns - 9 4th (T-7th)
Yards/Game - 78 3rd (9th)
First Downs - 58 2nd (7th)

As a second year receiver, Colston is establishing himself as a go-to receiver in the NFL. is receptions, yardage, and touchdown marks are all career highs, showing no signs of a sophomore slump. Congratulations Marques! xbowx

I agree, total snub. Someone also posted over on the caazone that Mike Golic said he was the biggest snub of the NFC.

HU had a bad qb who didn't help getting him the ball and our OC never took advantage of his size during playcalling. Colston could have been one of the best coming out of college had he played with one of our more accomplished qb's.

On a side note, Colston recieved a picture of himself from a friend of mine shortly after he scored his first college TD against Richmond i believe. After bumping in to my buddy earlier this year when he was at Hofstra, Colston told him he still has the picture on his desk. He said he keeps it there to remind him where he came from and how hard he has worked to get there. He said its been a great source of motivation, just a real good kid.
