Yesterday I was out shopping wearing my App State hoodie proudly after the big win. This old man points at me and says hey you come here a sec. There are people like this everywhere. When I was up in Jefferson getting a Christmas tree wearing my Elon hat, had a guy come up to me and laugh and say Elon was never going to field a team capable of beating "his boys" ... which I am fine with, but there is a time and place for it, Christmas Tree shopping is not that time.

You have to chalk it up to there being a bunch of idiots in the world.

I'll never forget the ASU/GSU game this year. Was standing with some friends on the field behind one of the endzones. GSU students were beside us. There were so many chants of "Wof-ford!" Then counters with 'E-lon" and "Noo-ga" It was the only things people could say in drunken states.

Not all of us are like that. I know plenty of app fans who wanted to fight my roommate who was a Grad Asst. to the band at KBS. He had to get a police escort to the band truck so he wouldnt get abused or anything. There are fans like this everywhere. xcoffeex

We do all have idiot fans and good fans. I witnessed each on both sides of the ASU/GSU game and the NC last Friday night. (Alcohol and testosterone don't mix). No school's fan base has a monopoly on class.

...the fans on the sidelines with time left. It is really not a big deal. Everyone knew it was going to happen. I've been to Chatty for the past three years, and everytime I've jumped over that wall. I was excited for my team to win, just like everyone else. People are acting like we moved down to the sidelines during halftime. Again, it's not a big deal. Get over it. People are just looking for something to gripe about.

I sometimes make an exception for the sillypuppy because he is such an easy target, and outside of the 30 days immediately following his beloved Chitadel football team getting their butts whipped by our GSU Eagles it's very hard to shut him up.
