SAN JOSE, Calif. — Columbia fencing produced a number of top finishes at January's North American Cups, highlighted by six Lions earning seven medals at the event held from January 5-8. First-year Samarth Kumbla won gold in the junior men's foil competition and bronze in senior men's foil to highlight the weekend's performances. In total, Columbia had 41 representatives, including alumni, and picked up 26 top-32 finishes.
