CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – North Dakota State wrestling finished with three placers at the 2024 Southern Scuffle, hosted by the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga at McKenzie Arena. Gaven Sax led the way for the Bison with a third-place finish at 174 pounds, avenging his only loss of the weekend, defeating Oklahoma's Tate Picklo in the third-place match, while also taking the Southern Scuffle Gorrarian Award.
