Heartfelt & Emotional Press Conference for New UC Davis Head Coach Tim Plough

UC Davis introduced Tim Plough as their new head coach today in a heartfelt and emotional press conference. The former Aggie QB who went on to be the Aggie's Offensive Coordinator at the young age of 25 before eventually moving on to Boise State and Cal was overcome with emotion at times as he talked about his journey back "home to UC Davis." Athletic Director, Rocko DeLuca, gave the opening remarks but you can skip forward to the 9:30 mark for the beginning of Plough's speech.

I'm just really curious as to why they have him standing in front of a whiteboard for this. Did they do the intro press conference in a classroom?
