CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Concluding opening week, freshman forward Andrea Martinez has been named Big South Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon. This is the first Freshman of the Week award won by Gardner-Webb since Alasia Smith on March 1, 2021.
