The article links to his name but returns a deleted link. That's quick.

It is largely expected that Columbia will not retain interim coach Mark Fabish. We will see what happens soon enough...
And I'd be surprised if Cornell gives Dave Archer another year. Again, we will see what happens soon enough...

Cornell's problems do not go away if Archer does.

Perhaps, but he was a questionable hire to begin with. He has somehow lasted 10 seasons and is 29-68!

"I am grateful to Chuck for his 18 years of dedication to Stony Brook University and to the countless young men whose lives he has impacted," said Director of Athletics Shawn Heilbron. "Under his direction, our program earned multiple playoff appearances while sending our first wave of players into the NFL."
"Don't let the door hit ya where the good lawd split ya" - also Shawn, probably.

When the portal lists came out last season I decided to check out the rosters of all of Fordham's opponents. Only Stony Brook and Wagner had scrubbed all links to names in the portal. Seemed childish. Guess Priore now knows what it's like to be on the other end of that.
Also, not sure if I'm remembering this correctly, but wasn't the bulk of his winning (2010-2012) done with Hofstra transfers after that program dropped?

I've got the perfect package deal for Stony Brook. They can have Matt Entz for coach, and they can have their old Athletic Director Matt Larsen back too. They can get two dip****s for the price of one. I'd even help Larsen pack.

Larsen was actually associate ad, and I'm sure if he knew his boss was about to go down for sexual harassment he would have stuck around!

Matt Larsen was one of the whistleblowers so he knew all about Jim Fiore's gross misconduct. To tie it back to Chuck Priore, Fiore was the one who hired him. And to throw in a Fordham twist, Fiore's career started at Fordham while current Fordham AD, Ed Kull, is a Stony Brook grad.

That stretch is probably what initially put SBU on the CAA radar but they were briefly relevant again in the late 20-teens (2016-2017?). Other than that, the Seawolves have had a lot of bad to mediocre teams. Honestly, I'm amazed Priore lasted as long as he did.
