HAMPTON, Va. (Oct. 30, 2023) ... Romon Copeland was named CAA Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in a 26-24 win over North Carolina A&T on Nov. 4. Following a third quarter Aggie TD, Copeland returned the ensuing kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown. It was the longest kickoff return since Chase Powell rambled 95 yards for a score against Savannah State on Nov. 12, 2016. The 5-9 redshirt junior returned another kickoff 20 yards, had three rushes for 34 yards (11.3 yards per carry), and caught a pass for nine yards.
