LEWISTON, Maine — A manhunt involving hundreds of police officers is underway after deadly overnight shootings shook this city of about 38,000 people. At least 22 people were killed in Lewiston late Wednesday, a law enforcement official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity based on initial information gathered by first responders. Dozens more were injured, the person said. Law enforcement officials are searching for Robert Card, 40, of Bowdoin, a “person of interest” who police said should be regarded as armed and dangerous.

Unfortunately Maine has joined the ranks of other states with it's first Mass Shooting. The most unsettling part is the killer is still at large and hopefully can be taken out today. Just as a FYI, Lewiston is an 1.5 hrs from UMaine at Orono which hosts Albany on Saturday.

Thoughts and prayers for the good folks of Maine. I would be disappointed but would certainly understand if the game was cancelled.

I'd agree if there was no FCS football connection; however, fans from Albany could be planning on traveling to Orono, ME. There are potential safety issues and speculation that the game might be cancelled.

Decision of football game to be made tomorrow morning. Considering ME-UNH women's soccer game was postponed today as well as all after school activities for most of the state I highly doubt this game gets played unless this bastard is caught by tomorrow morning, not only has he taken 18 lives he is holding the state hostage, terrible situation.

Hopefully with LOTS of armed security if the "person of interest" has not yet been apprehended before game time.
