TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swimmer Brian Benzing has been named CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. The senior turned in another dominant performance, winning all five individual events to help lead Towson to team victories over Old Dominion (116-89) and William & Mary (141-121) last weekend. He captured a CAA-best time of 48.55 in the 100 fly and posted a time of 2:02.35 in the 200 breast, which is just shy of his league-best mark. Against ODU, Benzing posted a time of 1:39.26 in the 200 free, which is another CAA-best mark, and a time of 53.74 in the 100 breast, finishing less than a half-second of his league-best mark.
