NEWARK -- Southern Illinois' offense is a lethal mixture of different forces, which is what makes Delaware's defensive task particularly challenging in Saturday's Division I-AA football semifinal.

In watching videotape of the Salukis, UD cornerback Anthony Walters was struck by how they could be a dominating passing team, comfortable flinging the ball through the air, on one play.

Pretty accurate. I think one of the biggest factors that isn't mentioned is team health. While it won't surprise me if UD puts up 30, it will surprise me if SIU doesn't. Based on the little I saw of UD/UNI I think Umass was a little stronger on defense. If you people would play each other it would make scouting a lot easier.
