TOWSON, Md. – Towson University swimmer Brian Benzing has been named the Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) Men's Co-Swimmer of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. The Ellicott City native helped Towson pick up dual meet victories over La Salle and George Mason to start the 2023-24 campaign. The senior posted a time of 53.32 in the 100 breast vs. George Mason, which checks in as the 5th-fastest in the nation. He won the 200 breast in a league-best time of 2:00.36 and captured the 200 free with a time of 1:39.41, which is also tops in the CAA thus far.
