CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A mere two-and-a-half hours away from the Presbyterian College women's soccer team's Monday visit to Winthrop for a crucial in-state divisional matchup, sophomore forward Sloan Spees was gifted a co-Offensive Player of the Week award from the Big South Conference for her efforts in last Wednesday's 2-0 win over Gardner-Webb.The second straight season that the Blue Hose have been granted an Offensive POTW plaudit – following in Kori Lawrence's footsteps last October – Spees carved up the Runnin' Bulldog defense last week with the second multi-goal effort of her young career.
