Eastern Illinois football had a pair of players collect Big South – OVC Football Association Weekly Awards on Monday as the Panthers have opened the 2023 season with a 4-1 record. Blake Ruffin was named the co-Defensive Player of the Week while MJ Flowers won his third consecutive Freshman of the Week honor.
