I agree! The Ivy League had been picking up a lot of momentum the last 5-6 years but the conference appears to have hit the skids at least temporarily. Talent erosion? Assistant coaching attrition? Residual effects of Covid? Ivy League policies effecting recruiting given the current climate of college athletics?.....Or just one of those years? xrotatehx

While I'm excited for some football, it's a pretty weak (on the surface) slate of games this weekend. YSU at UNI, Harvard at Holy Cross, Villanova at Albany, North Dakota at South Dakota State and Idaho at EWU is about as good as it gets....

Richmond first 2 QBs out. Started a walk-on who did get the win against Stony last week, but nothing today. They finally went to 4th guy a freshman who they had not wanted to play. He actually looked like the best QB Spiders have.

Spiders had one first down in first half and it came from penalty, thus the #4 guy playing the second half. OL was full of 5th year seniors to start now 2 RSF in the mix.

All that said, the defense is still pretty good, excepting today.
