Oregon gets in the Sun Bowl and faces South Florida. I think we can all conclude that this is a miracle for the Ducks and I think they have a great shot to beat the Bulls, especially after how well they did yesterday despite the circumstances.
Arizona State vs Texas should be a great matchup. I will be for once rooting for the Sun Devils in sake of the Pac 10....And I think they will put on a show against the Horns.
Miss State gets in to face UCF in the Liberty Bowl. Good to see Croom finally get there.
PSU vs Texas A&M in the Alamo Bowl - Interesting that A&M is 2-8 in their last 10 bowl games and PSU is 8-2. I think Penn State will bring the only, that's right, the only win for the Big Ten in a bowl game.

The Ducks have a great shot, but the key is forcing the Bulls to turn the ball over and protecting your QB, they have to very solid corners and the safties are hitters. They're solid on D, but inconsistent on O. The key to stopping their offense is to stop Matt Grothe.
I like the Noles chances against Kentucky, should be a good game.

So you think Frogs in a close one then? That's fair, the offense has struggled at times this year.

I think Mr. Kolb and the Cougars will run rampant on the Horned Frogs

You mean Kevin Kolb (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10480), rookie QB for the Philadelphia Eagles and UH alum?
That Kevin Kolb? xeyebrowx

UCLA plays BYU in a rematch from earlier in the season when UCLA was actually good. I'd prefer a bowl game NOT be a rematch, but what are you going to do. MWC always plays inferior teams in their bowl games, so look for Byoo to win this game and get revenge pretty easily.

Cameron Colvin MIGHT be back at wide receiver. That's it.

And of course it's the time of year another Pac-10 team gets screwed and has to play in San Diego. At least it wasn't Oregon or Cal this time

Most compelling games to me (other than UVA in the Gator)...
Peach: Auburn vs. Clemson
Cotton: Arkansas vs. Missouri
Sugar: Georgia vs. Hawaii
Fiesta: Oklahoma vs. West Virginia
Would watch if I have nothing else to do...
Emerald: Oregon State vs. Maryland
Independence: Alabama vs. Colorado
You can have the rest. xcoffeex
BTW, ECU vs. Boise in Hawaii and GT vs. Fresno in Boise... does the game count if there is nobody there to see it? xconfusedx

Peach Bowl (I refuse to call it by its current name) - Battle of the orange tigers. This won't be confusing.
Humanitarian Bowl - I don't know how on earth the ACC got involved in that game. No one from the ACC wants to go to Boise, and then they have to play a WAC school.
Fiesta, Cotton, Sugar and Holiday should be good.

The award for worst coaching job in the Pac-10 this year goes to Mike Bellotti, who manages to edge out Mike Stoops. When Dixon got hurt, it was clear they never practiced any plays the other QB's could run. They had a huge advantage in talent against Arizona, and an edge in coaching against UCLA but looked pathetic in both games sans Dixon. Oh, that clock thing at the end of the OSU game was pretty dumb too.
At least Stoops got better as the season progressed, not worse.

I don't know. Mike made some bonehead moves this year but how good were we supposed to be? Even at Arizona we were without 4 of our 5 top receivers and one of our running backs. It isn't as if Dixon was the only catalyst - we were lucky that the offense was producing so well in spite of all the other injuries the Ducks had. To say they had an advantage of talent at Arizona when most of their offensive skill players were second and third string is arguable. Take away one defensive TD and a special teams score by Arizona and the score is 24-21 Ducks. By no way am I saying that AZ didn't outplay Oregon - I'm just saying it really did fall on a very very banged-up offense for Oregon.
But yes the clock thing at the end of the Civil War was ridiculous.

I don't know how they got involved in that game but they are 4-1 in it.
