I did not hear the offical number from WCU, but I did hear there were over 13k to make it one of the top-10 crowds ever in Cullowhee. Two home games in and we have to be averaging close to 13k (12,400+ in the opener against Samford). The next 2 home games are against Furman and Mercer that should help the numbers stay up as both of those schools actually usually bring some fans with them.

UAlbany @ Morgan State: NAIt looked like the Morgan State crowd was made up of parents and maybe a few girlfriends, but there were so many water drops on the video lenses it was hard to tell

14,724 were at UC Davis Health Stadium to watch Eastern Washington take advantage of 3 Aggie turnovers and a blocked FG to win the game and send the Aggie fans home disappointed again.

Is that number tickets sold or actual turnstiles clicked (or in this era tickets scanned!)..It was a wet and windy one in Easton and even though it was Parents Weekend and the Pards are looking very good, from TV shots there were hardly any on Monmouth side and home side looked quiet...BUT that was during halftime so folks getting dry under coverings or getting food. Sounds about right though I guess with actual folks in seats

These are the official tallies. Not sure on Lafayette, but all I’m aware count sold tickets.

Most games have struggled with bad weather conditions on the east coast the last two weeks. I feel awful because that lost income means so much to these FCS programs.

6565 reported at EIU for the Panthers matchup with McNeese. I watched on ESPN+ and it looked like a good crowd on the home side. Pretty quiet except for a couple of occasions, but they may not have had the crowd mic on. ?

If I recall, I started at Lafayette College in 1980, grad 84, didnt you folks win two titiles in my time at Lafayette. Long before the internet I would see how the playoff teams did in the Nov/Dec (back then I-AA winner crowned like a week before Xmas) playoffs via the print Philadelphia Inquirer (which would run a one paragraph recap if it wasnt a Philly area team) and Im sure EKU was winner

Ok and I think year before in 1981 they won it. I started following Lafayette football in 1981 after we got new HC Bill Russo who truned the program around from at best a moribund team (no TDs in 6 games in 1980 BUT a 3-0 win over Penn believe it or not) and a dismal 3-7 (losing to Lehigh final game, 32-0) to 9-2 in 1981 and upsetting Lehigh 10-3 in final game, just missing playoffs to URI as we had too many D3 opponents scheduled from our down years.
