Oregon just blew a chance to win the game. Questionable coaching. They position the ball in the middle of the field, but then run everyone off and on the field and rush the snap to get the kick off and it bounces off the upright. off to OT we go.

This was quite the game, competitive from start to finish.

Beavers scored on the first play of the 2nd overtime, on a 25 yard run, and the Beavers stopped Oregon on 4th down to seal the victory.

Oregon State - 38, Oregon - 31.

I was at a sports bar/restaurant tonight in Anderson, SC and only 1 tv had this game on and of course, I was engrossed rooting for the Ducks. Right as they ran onto the field to kick the fg, one of the idiot bartenders turned the channel to Missouri/Oklahoma.

I stood up and loudly across the bar exclaimed "IT WASN'T LIKE SOMEONE WASN'T WATCHING THE OREGON GAME!!!" Then had to get out of my seat to go to tell the idiot to turn it back on. Alas, Oregon lost....

Dang stupid college age bartenders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!xmadx

Not bad considering we played with our fifth string QB. However that was an all-time heartbreaker. How could we not have just SPIKED THE BALL!!! THE GAME WAS IN OUR HANDS!!!

Exactly. You think Belloti under the gun just a little after tanking somewhat after the 10 win 2005 season? Give Mike Riley credit.

GO CATAMOUNTS!!!

So, what's the letter grade you'd give Coach Kelly for his 1st year?

I would give him a solid B. Would have been an A had he made adjustments after Dixon went down instead of trying to run the same spread schemes with immobile freshmen quarterbacks.

I don't see him ever leaving the spread even if he had me at QB. (that would really suck for you guys)

After a couple recruiting seasons you'll get deeper at that position.

He's got an eye for QB's.

Word is a big double-thread QB that de-committed from LSU was at the game last night. Hopefully we can get him and Stewart will return next season with Jeremiah Johnson. I think the Ducks will be decent next year barring injuries and the prototypical late-season slide.
