Boiling Springs, N.C. - Following losses to FBS opponents in week one, Elon and Gardner-Webb will square off Saturday in Boiling Springs, N.C. for a pivotal non-conference FCS contest. Both teams are receiving votes in the top 25 polls and a victory would start building an FCS playoff resume for the winner. Elon lost at Wake Forest 37-17 and Gardner-Webb dropped a 45-24 decision to Appalachian State.
