I may have to come back to Missouri State/UT-Martin later in the week. It's 50/50 split right now giving a 28-27 lean to Missouri State andI said I would give the pick to the higher rated team, which is MOSU at 17 to 28. I wonder if any pre-Saturday games changes it at all.

SIU/NIU and WSU/UNI are also pretty right - 54/46 and 47/53 respectively - so they may change before kicks on Saturday as well.

Massey moved Missouri State to 51% after the midweek games so that will stay locked at MOSU.

In case you didn't know or were wondering why the ISUr nonconf schedule is so weak this year ... or if Spack is getting soft ? No.


https://news.illinoisstate.edu/2020/05/redbirds-will-face-sooners-in-2023/ ... this Oklahoma game got rescheduled to a future year. So this year, we have Dayton, Lindenwood, and EIU. So we picked up Dayton in week 1 or maybe Lindenwood and moved Dayton. Oddly we're playing WIU in week 2 .. maybe that was moved too ?

This could be a positive and/or a negative .. a negative if we're on the playoff bubble or just aren't as ready for MVFC gauntlet. A positive if it buys our defense time to rebuild before we play SDSU and then YSU in weeks 6 and 7.

But 7-4 won't be very impressive this year, unless it is a lot of quality wins and losses. So we need 8-3 or we are on outside looking in.
