Apparently WHYY.. a local Public TV station in Delaware has picked up the UD/UNI game Saturday.. but it looks like the game is being carried on Comcast's Digital Channel 242.. rather than WHYY's regular local PBS Channel 12.

Waiting on some good news for those of us with DirecTV...xwhistlex

...and I'm not talking about the 10pm tape delay on MASN.

For crying out loud, we have MASN, MASN2, and Comcast-Mid Atlantic and none of them can get the damned thing on live?

I guess I'll have to stop being such a cheap bastage and fork over the $21.95 for ESPN Game Plan.xmadx

I doubt there will be any HD cameras in the Dome.. Would be cool though.

DelSt game:
4 x $17 for NEZ $68 + parking $10 + crappy Tub food $20 + gas $40 = more than $21.95

Of course, watching the Hens beat the snot out of DSU in person = priceless

Thanks for highlighting on a new thread - I posted in the "fcs television" thread around 3:30, but this is a much better way to get more people to see it. GO HENS!

Yes, and besides, although that channel is digital, I do not believe it's an HD channel anyway.

Central Iowa will carry the game on cable, Ch. 22. But I will be at the game, just received the phone call that I have two tickets waiting. xthumbsupx

Hmm.. I just assumed that it was HD since it comes in the same channel range with all my other Comcast HD channels and not on the regular digital tier

That's unfortunate. WHYY-12 is one of the 63 channels we get on campus xconfusedx

Nevermind.

"4:59 p.m., Nov. 28, 2007--The NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision playoff game between the University of Delaware and the University of Northern Iowa will be broadcast Saturday afternoon on Channel 48 on the campus cable system."

I get the WHYY channel 242 "Wider Horizons" channel here in south Jersey apparently. Anyone else with Comcast in the region probably gets it as well.

Anyone the has basic Comcast Cable know a way to get the game?

Since the channel number's in the 200s, I think you only get it if you get HD service but don't quote me on that

I have HD and only get those high channels on the HD TV with the converter, so you are likely right.

Has anyone with DirecTV noticed that the other 3 quarterfinal games for tomorrow are listed on the "gameplan" channels for tomorrow, but the UNI/Delaware game is missing and not scheduled at all?

Yes it is, but the program guide for 778 does not show the game. The online channel guide also does not list the game.

What provider do you have ? Sounds like Rehoboth, I don't see Digital in Slower Lower except in Dover or Rehoboth

Or pay the $21.95 for the Gameplan, CH 702. You can then watch & root for UMASS in game following UD's should UD win.

I moved from the Lehigh Valley about a year ago and I had RCN cable and I know that WHYY was not on my cable up there. That always peeved me a bit because the Lehigh Valley PBS station is not that great. Everywhere else I've lived in the region carries all of the regional PBS stations (NJN, WHYY, etc.).
