GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Senior forward Riese Gaber has been named the 2023-24 University of North Dakota hockey captain in a vote by his peers, the program announced on Friday. Joining him in the leadership group are graduate student forward Carson Albrecht, junior forward Louis Jamernik V, fifth year defenseman Keaton Pehrson and junior forward Jake Schmaltz, who will all don the "A" on their sweaters for the first time in a North Dakota uniform.
