Washington Safety Sean Taylor was shot inside his house today and is critical condition. That's crazy.

I've tried to follow this throughout the day. His femoral artery was severed. From what I understand (which is not a lot), that's not good.

I'll answer my own: According to Washington Post a bullet did sever a leg/groin artery and he lost a lot of blood. He apparently flatlined two or three times during surgery but was revived. Condition is critical..Apparently comatose and unresponsive and doctors are majorly concerned about brain injury due to loss of blood. Prayers for the man & his family.

According to his attorney, there's a chance he could be brain dead from the loss of a severe amount of blood.

I sincerely hope he's going to make it through this....he's one of my favorite players to watch on the Redskins.

Hope he gets well. Sean Taylor had his fair share of troubles in the past, and his own run ins with the law, but since having his child he has tried to distance himself from his past. ESPN said this was the second time in eight days that someone has broken into his house. Get better Sean xprayx
