girls in volleyball shorts....nuff said.
Texas State plays Texas. I would love to see the upset but it will be tough since the game is at UT.

I thought FCS only pertained to Football not the rest of the sports. So shouldn't DI be DI? Isn't that what everyone on this board always harps about?

Yes, FCS refers to football only. But as supporters of the schools active in FCS, we support ALL sports at those schools and recognize them for their accomplishments. After all, this is the "Other Sports" forum. xreadx

I went to the women's volleyball final four in 1995, and it was by far the best sporting event I've ever attended. (That was before they changed the scoring system...I don't like the new system much) I highly recommend it.

Congrats to SDSU on their first NCAA tourney appearance in any sport. It's part of the joy of moving up.
I agree with what has been said, volleyball is fun on a lot of levels, not the least of which is that their athletes are not only talented, but some of the most attractive women in college sports.

We took a game from Cal which is great. We lost 3-1 though.
On a side note, Cameron Indoor Stadium is a dump.

The NCAA Volleyball tournament has 16 teams seeded. Of the teams playing those 16 teams, only two teams won a game. Liberty was one of them.

Tough draw for the regionals, we have #1 Stanford on their home court. If we pull off the upset we get the winner of Oregon/#8 UCLA. Go Mustangs!

Albany won their opening match, but lost to Penn State in three games in the second round of the regionals. Now that's a tough draw.

EPIC thread failure, we need more pics. LOLOL
I think I heard that the U of Delaware team made the tournament. I could be wrong though.
Womens volleyball is most definitely the only female sporting event I would ever watch on TV or attend live. Doesn't ESPN usually show some matches?

xnodx Beat Princeton in the first round and went up 1-0 on St. John's but lost the next three. It was the first time a CAA team ever won a game in the second round. xthumbsupx
