Cedric Bensen just went out with a leg injury in the 2nd quarter against the Broncos.

Got tackled funny on his left leg/ankle.

Just get him out of there. He is a waste!

Put Griese in as RB....someone anyone but him!!

I'm watching the game, and it didn't look good for Benson.

They say it's an ankle injury and his return is questionable.

I hope he never dresses for the Bears again.

Hester IS the Bears offense. Which sadly means they can only score when the opposition does.

It also looks like the Bears are using Wolfe a bit.

Yea Wolfe is seeing more PT then AP.

Hester: 228 yards
Bears offense: 160

Benson is on crutches with a robo-boot.

Mike Ditka just gave HUGE praise to AP stating that he is "something special" and that he remembers watching him in college. And both he and Merril Hoge stated it's gonna be tough for Benson to get his job back.

Nice find on the picture, which is from his freshman year at GSU.

FWIW, GSU hasn't worn the blue pants since 1999, which is how I know that picture is from 1998.

This is the opportunity we've all wanted for AP. He will finally get his chance to show the world what he has. Make me proud AP!

Unfortunately for AP and Wolfe the remaining teams are all top 15 in rush defense!!! Geez why couldn't AP get a game against the Falcons!!! OH well if he does good against those defenses he truely deserves the accolades.

Anyone has to be better them Benson. As long as whoever the RB is he busts his ass and actually shows that he gives a rats ass, unlike Benson, I will be happy.

True I just wish AP did not have to face some of the best rush defenses in all of the NFL. A mix would have been nice but they are ALL good.....xoopsx Oh and a good QB to lighten the load would be nice too.

I think that is smart of the Bears' coaching staff. Wolfe should be given the opportunity to play and show the Bears what he can do. If his style of running is different than AP's, then they will be a good compliment to each other. Hopefully, AP will prove to be a better back.

Nothing spectacular rushing today, but as far as receiving goes he was the top guy. Makes you wonder why he didn't get more passes during his days at GSU.

Yeah, he had a lot of "almost broke that one" kind of plays. Given enough playing time--which obviously he's going to get for the rest of the season--he's going to break his fair share of those. I was very impressed with his ability as a receiver out of the backfield.

Did anyone else hear when Troy Aikman said something along the lines of, "Peterson has nowhere near the talent of Cedric Benson"? I had to roll my eyes at that one.

Proved it again today.

Did yuo see him tweak his ankle? It looked bad, but I didn't pay attention to see if he came back out and played.

He was back on the next punt. His ankle was heavily taped but he seemed to be running fine. I thought it looked bad at first as well.
