RICHMOND, VA.- For the second straight season, Tribe relief pitcher Carter Lovasz was selected to the VaSID All-State Team. Lovasz was named first-team all-state, while recent Seattle Mariners draft pick Ben Williamson and Rojo Prarie landed on the second team. Carter is just the second Tribe player to earn the VaSID honor in back to back seasons since 2014, and the first ever to accomplish the feat in his first two collegiate seasons.
