RICHMOND, Va. — For the first time in 17 years, Richmond Athletics placed first among all Atlantic 10 institutions in the annual LEARFIELD Directors' Cup standings for the the 2022-23 school year. The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup, a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today, awards points based on how each school's teams fare in that year's NCAA Championships. Richmond earned a total of 164 points during the 2022-23 school year, well ahead of the 100 points earned by Saint Louis, which finished second among Atlantic 10 schools.
