Dover, Del. (May 15, 2023) --- Shalie Lipp, a member of the Delaware State women's track & field team, and a rising mixed martial arts star, has died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash in Minnesota last week. She was 21 years old. Lipp was a pole-vaulter for the Hornets in 2020 and 2021, and pursuing a degree in Marketing at Delaware State.
