Chattanooga hit two homers and put seven runs on the board to lead 8-2 after three innings, but that wouldn't be enough Thursday night in the consolation bracket of the Southern Conference Softball Tournament at Frost Stadium. Mercer answered with eight runs over the next two innings and added one more in the sixth to take an 11-8 victory from the Mocs and advance to the Friday rounds.
