The Western Illinois track and field teams sent a small group to the Iowa State Alumni Meet on Saturday. Junior Logan Lommel stole the show, breaking the 1500 meter school record in 3:48.31. The previous record was set at 3:49.85 in 1992 by Jeff Reed. This tallies up Lommel's individual school records to four and total school records to six with relay records included.
