That stadium trips me out. The one sided thing just looks weird. Great turnout though, I only hope Texas State can get 18K at a game one day.

Do the fans behind the light poles get a discount on tickets?

It was amazing how filled up the stadium was. It looked like every seat was taken and yet more and more people kept coming.
Most of the upperdeck is first come, first serve.

Hey Ralph,
How'd you enjoy your time in BG? What were your opinions of the game? Fans? Your experience? I am anxious to know how you enjoyed yourself!

Huge crowd, looks awesome! That one sided stadium though just bugs me. It reminds me of some high schools. Throw up some 2,000 seat bleachers on the away side at least.
I hope that plan I read about earlier comes through for WKU... but just don't bolt to I-A if you get it done please.

Yeah that's how Roy Kidd stadium is. It's basically 1 sided, with a smaller visitor blechers on the other side. I expected there to be maybe some fights and stuff because the EKU fans had to sit on the same side, but everyone was civil enough not to break into a fight. However, I rode the bus that EKU ran to the game, and when we got into the middle of the campus people was throwing **** at the bus everything. We really needed a police escourt or something.

It almost reminds me of Nickerson Field at BU which has the grandstand from old Braves Field (the Boston Braves played baseball at what's now BU's athletic field and the main seating at Nickerson was the grandstand from the original ballpark built in the 30s), except for the fact that BU put up a small amount of bleachers for the visiting team.
I'm not complaining, Northeastern needs to get a field worthy of a decent high school program in Georgia before we start criticizing ANYONE's field.

Used to go there as a kid to the BU Homecoming games. The students could look out their dorm rooms (right side) onto the stadium. I remember asking my father (Uconn grad) why there wasn't stands on the away side and he replied, "because the BU people don't like visitors," just to piss my Mother off (BU grad). Yes, they are no longer married....
