I'm almost positive that I won't make it to Cedar Falls until Saturday. Thankfully, I won't be driving the 1,400+ miles from FL!! Since it is Thanksgiving Weekend, I was pretty amazed at the flight & car package I found on Travelocity. Of course, having the flexibility to return on Monday helped!

UNHWILDCATS05 and I were talking today about wanting to meet up with you. Hope we can do so on Saturday.

lots open 4hrs before game time, but lots have been opened starting at 7am for some games...i wouldnt be suprised if they are open early saturday but the high temp is only 42...so dress warm!!!!:) Its snowing currently right now in and around Des Moines!

Also, can you recommend an Iowa microbrew whose beer I can find easily? I prefer darker beers over pilseners and IPAs. If not, will I find Leinenkuegel Red sold in Iowa?

I can't really sugguest any good micro brews from around the area. I mean we now have Fat Tire in this area it used to be just in Nebraska places around us. It is a darker beer. I know the Becks on University Avenue brews their own beers, but I don't really know how good they are. I know for a fact we do have Leinies Red I saw it just tonight in the Hy-Vee right here in Cedar Falls, so worst comes to worst you can get that. If I think of any other micro brews from around this area I will let you know. I guess I don't know what types of beers you have in your area. I hope this helps you.

Their darker beers are a little bland, but pretty good.

I figure I'll do my "tailgating" at Becks on the hill, while I catch an early dinner before heading to the Dome.

Hopefully the UNI volleyball team wins tommorrow night and I can watch them in the final match, but I don't know if Becks has Fox College Sports on their satellite package.
