Why would a coach leave now? Michigan will play in a Bowl game and it seems kind of weak to leave the team before the season has ended. He's not the first and I've always wondered.
Is it for recruiting reasons?

I assume he will stick around for the bowl game.

Oh, he'll stay. He is a classic Michigan coach. I have to say that I kinda liked the guy. Straight forward and well spoken. He'll finish out the season with his team.

I always did like Lloyd Carr, he just couldn't beat Tressel and the Buckeyes. I hope the Big Blue has the 1.25 Million needed to pay LSU so Les Miles can leave TigerTown.

Carr does things the right way. He recruits solid student athletes and mentors them. I hate Michigan, but I respect Carr, and its a shame he has been getting killed by Tressel, but its hard to compete when your main rival is so crooked.

They made it sound like he wasn't going to be there for the bowl game. Sounds like he is giving the interim coach a good opportunity to prove he deserves the full-time job by winning the bowl game. xpeacex

I never liked double L oyd but I hate also michigan. He always seemed like the press was getting in the way of his job.

Can't imagine this getting done anytime soon. Miles won't be available until Janaury 8th unless they slip up against Arkansas or the SEC East champ.

Well, if Mudchicken wants to keep up with their main rival, they must change their name to THE Michigan.
