Is it just me or is this a little fishy for first round games?

2005: Georgia Southern sent on the road to Texas State
2006: Furman sent to 7-4 Montana State
2007: Wofford sent to Montana

I believe that's 3 years in a row with the Socon at large team and 2007 autobid team having to make the longest trip for the opening round.

That doesn't make sense.

I felt, personally, that UNH should have had to make the trip...I can feel the pain.

Makes perfect sense to me. They outbid them for the home game.


That's why there are only 4 seeds. The NCAA would potentially lose out on a ton of dough if the 8 seeds happened to be teams with low attendances.
