Portland State's defense brought the intensity to a Friday morning scrimmage at Stott Community Field and it showed on the very first play. Running back Quincy Craig broke through the line for what appeared would be a good opening run. But, defensive tackle Dino Kahaulelio stripped him of the ball and linebacker Ian Crocker recovered, giving the defense a big play right away.
