MACOMB, Ill - Western Illinois Men's Golf team tee'd off at the Indian Creek golf course on Monday and Tuesday. As the Leathernecks were competing in the Stampede at the Creek invitational in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Western Illinois would end up finishing in seventh place, with a +35 score. WIU would start the first round with a 300 score. The second round the team would get the ball rolling and ended up with their best team score of 294. In the third round they ended with a score of 305. As a team the Leathernecks shot a total of 43 birdies.
