TOWSON, Md. – Towson University diver Shannon Parrau was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Rookie Diver of the Year on the women's side following her performance at the CAA Championship and qualification for NCAA Zone Diving meet. At the conference championship meet, Parrau just missed the podium with a fourth-place finish in the 1-meter competition with a 266.45 in the finals session. She was seeded fourth overall following preliminary dives with a 261.20 in the afternoon session. In the 3-meter competition, the freshman finished ninth with a score of 262.65. She is Towson's first Rookie Diver of the Year since 2016.
