Dover, Del. (Apr. 6, 2023) --- The achievements of high school and college athletes take center stage today, recognized annually as National Student-Athlete Day. The day, first recognized in 1987, was designed to honor the outstanding achievements of student athletes who have achieved excellence in academics, while making significant contributions to their schools and communities. Delaware State has nearly 500 student-athletes competing in 19 sports.
