OMAHA, Neb. – The North Dakota Softball team capped off its weekend in Omaha with a 4-2 win over the Mavericks of Omaha, courtesy of a two-run home run in the 9th inning from Mariah Peters. After a scoreless first two innings, UND broke the deadlock with a sac fly from Madison Pederson with the bases loaded in the third inning. Later Cassie Castaneda stole second, and on a throwing error she advanced to third while Izzy Haslett came in to score and make it 2-0.
