Austin Peay State University's softball team pounded out a season high 15 hits in its ASUN Conference Series opener against Florida Gulf Coast, Saturday at the FGCU Softball Complex, while Jordan Benefiel authored her fifth shutout of the season, in a 6-0 victory, before dropping Game 2 by the same 6-0 final margin.
