I know the Big South isn't exactly viewed in the highest regard by the general membership of this board but I thought this game should be noted on here nonetheless
Liberty heads down to Boiling Springs, NC to face the Runnin Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb. a Liberty victory today gives the Flames their first ever Big South Title outright. A dominating victory by Liberty today and a number of other teams slipping up (as the Flames are a definite longshot) could yield an even bigger reward: their first ever FCS playoff berth.
On the other hand, if Gardner Webb wins, they will share the Big South title with the Flames and possibly even Coastal Carolina should the Chanticleers (who beat Gardner Webb last week) defeat Charleston Southern today.
The game can be seen on the Mid Atlantic Sports Network today at 3:30 pm
