Do a player's seasonal stats extend into postseason play? For example a player has 967 yards rushing through 11 games. Does his post season rushing count toward the total?

Adding more games to the regular season schedule also kind of disrespects the historic record holders. Whether it be in college football, the NFL, baseball, and probably just about all the sports.
