NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Today, the Tennessee Sports Writers Association named Tennessee State University sophomore pitcher Caitlyn Manus as their Softball Pitcher of the Week for her efforts in contests from March 13-19. On Saturday, Manus (10-8, 3-0 OVC) pitched a four-hit shutout to defeat the Southeast Missouri University Redhawks, breaking a 14-game losing streak to the Redhawks. On Wednesday, she suffered a tough-luck loss against the University of Alabama-Birmingham when she only gave up an unearned run in relief.
